Arrakeen is a beautiful, healthy black male ready to start his breeding career. He is well grown and proportional, has long straight legs and topline, and has his sire's beautiful head. He grew an impressive staple length for his first shearing and has great fleece coverage from head to toes. He has a fine fleece with good crimp and brightness.
His sire is our gorgeous solid black point grey herdsire, Perfect Peace Arrakis. He comes from some very impressive lines including 5Peruvian Black Ice, My Peruvian Lorenzo (1st PAOBA 2003, 1st Great Western 2003), 5Peruvian Ajoyani (top Snowmass pick in '98 import) and of course the one and only AG Peruvian Alejandro (Black Reserve Color Champion Empire Alpaca Extravaganza 2005, class of 50!).
Arrakeen is also out of a great Crescent Moon Ranch daughter of Chaccu. She is fawn but her line includes black as well and she definitely has thrown the color to her crias.

Delivery: buyer to pick up alpaca within 30 days. After 30 days, agisting fees will accrue at $4 per day.
